Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance is essential.
  • Full and clean UK Driving Licence required.
  • Manufacturer Diagnostic Accreditation or equivalent certification is necessary.

  • Carry out servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards.
  • Perform cambelt, clutch, gearbox, and engine repairs or replacements.
  • Provide technical repairs and diagnostics for warranty work.
  • Support workshop team with technical expertise.

  • Basic Salary - £41,300
  • OTE - £50,000
  • Paid Overtime

Our client, a Busy Franchised Dealership in Oxford has the requirement for experienced Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician to join their established workshop team.

Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician Responsibilities

As a Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure Servicing & Repairs are carried out to Manufacturer Standards
  • Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
  • In depth Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
  • Provide Technical Expertise to the workshop team
  • Warranty Repairs
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Essential Requirements
  • Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
  • Manufacturer Diagnostic Accreditation or equivalent
  • Full and clean UK Driving Licence
Desirable Requirements
  • Hybrid/EV Qualification
  • MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7)
Remuneration & Benefits
  • Basic Salary of £41,300 DOE
