Panda Waste is a team dedicated to environmental excellence in collections and deliveries. We are seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Multi‑Skilled Driver to join our Wolverhamptondepot (WV1 2HS).

The Role

We are looking for an experienced driver for a full‑time role involving a mixture of HGV Class 2 and Van driving duties. You'll be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring safe and efficient collections and deliveries and contributing directly to a cleaner, greener future.

Working Hours & Schedule

Schedule: Full‑Time, Permanent position, Monday to Friday (stable hours).

Start / Finish Times: General working hours between 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Flexibility: Occasional Saturday work may be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diligent daily and weekly vehicle safety and compliance checks.
  • Efficiently manage and execute assigned collection and delivery routes.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and written records for all operational activities.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the depot team to ensure smooth operations.
Essential Requirements
  • Valid Category C (HGV Class 2) Licence and current Driver CPC qualification.
  • Current Digital Tachograph Card.
  • A minimum of 2 years professional driving experience.
  • Must be over 25 years of age for insurance compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle safety and transport regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and good knowledge of the local Wolverhampton area.
What We Offer (Compensation & Benefits)
  • Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour.
  • Overtime: £22.50 per hour (Paid for hours beyond the standard week).
  • Early Start Bonus: £10.00 per day (for starts before 4:30 AM).
  • Meal Allowance: £3.00 per day.
  • Potential Daily Bonus: Up to £13.00 per day (£65.00 per week potential).
  • Night Work Allowance: £26.50 per night when required.
