Job summary

A leading logistics company in Exeter is seeking a Van Driver for home deliveries. Responsibilities include multi-drop deliveries and vehicle safety checks. A Full UK Driving License and being 21 or older are required. Immediate start available, with overtime pay for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving License (no more than 6 points for speeding only).
• Aged 21 or older for insurance purposes.
• Willing to work as Driver's Mate as well as Van Driver.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop home furnishing deliveries within the local area.
• Work as Driver's Mate as well as Van Driver.
• Conduct vehicle safety checks.

Overview

Van Driver - Home Deliveries

Location: Exeter

Salary: £12.87ph; Overtime: £19.30ph (after 48h per week)

Duration: Temp to Perm (Full Time hours)

Shift pattern: Wednesday to Sunday - 6am starts

Start date: Available Immediately

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop home furnishing deliveries within the local area to customers' houses (Some heavy lifting involved - 2-person crew)
• Work as Driver's Mate as well as Van Driver
• Vehicle safety checks
• Complete a theory and driving-based assessment
• Full on-the-job training supplied
• Good communication skills and excellent customer service
