Are you a reliable and motivated Van Driver looking for your next opportunity? Join Ikea in Dartford and become a vital part of our dynamic delivery team!

We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering excellent service. As a Van Driver, you'll be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries to our valued customers - helping keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. You will be delivering alongside a Drivers Mate who will assist in the lifting and shifting of items.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, 48 hours per week, on a 5 on 3 off pattern, with start times between 05:00 and 06:00.

What you will do on a typical day
  • Working as a 2-person delivery team, delivering furniture products into a room of choice at customers' homes and providing a first-class customer service experience
  • Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly secured.
  • Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects.
What you need to succeed at GXO
  • This is a physically demanding role which includes lifting and shifting of furniture.
  • Full UK driving licence with category B entitlement.
  • No more than 6 current penalty points
  • No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
  • Previous experience driving category B vehicles is desirable.
  • DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate.
