Job summary

A leading staffing agency is looking for a project manager to lead defined workstreams in the migration of financial systems to SaaS. The role requires proven experience with SaaS migrations and strong knowledge of ERP systems. This is a hybrid position based in Yorkshire, requiring on-campus presence 2-3 days a week. Ideal candidates will also have experience with Unit4 Business World migrations and a background in UK Higher Education.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing SaaS migrations (technical & functional workstreams).
• Strong knowledge of financial systems / ERP.
• Hands-on experience with Unit4 Business World (Agresso) migrations to SaaS is highly desirable.
• Background in UK Higher Education and stakeholder governance is highly desirable.

• Lead technical delivery of assigned workstreams within the Unit4 SaaS migration.
• Manage integrations with third-party solutions (e.g., GrantsNow, Flywire).
• Develop project plans, RAID logs, and governance reporting.
• Engage stakeholders through workshops and decision-making sessions.
• Mitigate risks and dependencies proactively.
• Ensure documentation and structured reporting for leadership and governance boards.

Role Overview:

You’ll lead defined workstreams as part of the migration of Unit4 (Agresso/Business World) from on‑premises (Azure) to vendor SaaS. This is a critical replatforming project with significant integration elements, reporting directly to the Programme Manager and working alongside a collaborative PM team.

Key Requirements

• Essential:
  • Proven experience managing SaaS migrations (technical & functional workstreams).
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems / ERP.
• Highly Desirable:
  • Hands‑on experience with Unit4 Business World (Agresso) migrations to SaaS.
  • Background in UK Higher Education and stakeholder governance.
