Overview

Are you an experienced Underwriter considering relocation to sunnier climes, or an experienced Actuary with strong experience looking to move on to an Underwriter role overseas? If so, we'd love to hear from you ASAP!

Location: Bermuda-based with relocation and housing assistance. (frequent travel to London required)
Team: Agile, high-performing underwriting unit.
Role Type: Newly created position due to global growth

Responsibilities

This is a fast-paced platform, and the successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running, contribute immediately, and operate with autonomy. The role supports a global portfolio, with significant exposure to the US market, across general liability, cyber, and other specialty lines.

Qualifications

• Maths or Applied Science Degree: Along with relevant experience as an Actuary or Underwriter.
• Solid experience in treaty or direct underwriting, with exposure to pricing or actuarial disciplines
• Familiarity with general liability, cyber, and other relevant specialty classes
• Proven ability to work independently within a lean, results-driven team
• Comfortable transitioning quickly into a new role and adapting to a fast-paced environment
• Willing and able to relocate for a 2+ year contract commitment and also to travel frequently, including regular visits to London
