Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Commercial Underwriter for a hybrid position in Dudley. The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating new business and managing renewals, while building strong relationships within the insurance industry. Candidates should have knowledge in Property Owners/SME and/or Liability insurance, along with excellent communication and analytical skills. This full-time role offers a salary between £30,000 - £40,000 per annum.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Property Owners/SME and/or Liability insurance is essential.
  • Previous underwriting experience or a background in insurance or broking is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, negotiate, and underwrite new business with a focus on profitability.
  • Secure renewals and handle Mid-Term Adjustments effectively.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with brokers and stakeholders.
