Job Description: Undergraduate Placement Scheme – Post Production Engineering

This is a full-time, paid internship (£23,500 annual salary + benefits) for undergraduate students on an industrial placement year, starting June 2025 and concluding in Autumn 2026. The role requires working onsite Monday to Friday in the UK.

Job Summary:

The internship supports the Post Production Engineering team within Disney’s Post Production Facilities in the UK and Europe. You will assist the Technology support team, providing technical and organizational support for workflows in video editing, audio mixing, and graphics design across Disney’s media networks and platforms.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support to creative teams.
  2. Update technical documentation.
  3. Log and track support issues using a ticketing system.
  4. Collaborate with third-party teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  5. Perform technical and administrative tasks as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Second-year undergraduate student on an industrial placement year, returning to studies in Autumn 2026.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Interest in media, engineering, or broadcasting.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and handle administrative duties.
  • Interest in media editing tools such as Premiere, After Effects, ProTools, Cinema4D, etc.
