Overview

Twilight Veterinary Surgeon, Newnham Court Veterinary Hospital, Maidstone.

Rota: 2pm-12am, 7 on 14 off. Newnham Court Veterinary Hospital are looking for a Twilight Veterinary Surgeon to join their existing highly experienced Day and ECC team of Vets and RVNs. The primary purpose of this role is taking responsibility for the care and case progression of hospitalised patients. Experience in a hospital setting would be great, but it is not essential. You will get to utilise your time management/communication skills, have exposure to internal medicine and consult as part of the evening team. We are a Tier 3 accredited Hospital in Mainstone, Kent, who provide only the highest standards of care to our patients. Our practice is fantastically well equipped with all the usual tech, tools and toys that we need to do high quality clinical work. Our team is made up of 17 fantastic veterinary surgeons, all with varying interests and skills, meaning we see a large range of interesting cases. Our nursing team is 16 strong and is encouraged to pursue their own interests and professional development. We have a great support team and practice manager who work hard to ensure the practice runs smoothly. We are based in Maidstone and commutable from Chatham, Rainham, Sittingbourne, Faversham, Tonbridge, Marden, Staplehurst, Headcorn, Ashford, Sevenoaks, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Paddock Wood, Canterbury, Orpington, Gravesend and other locations in South London and Kent.

Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this role is taking responsibility for the care and case progression of hospitalised patients. Work within the evening team to provide high standards of clinical care and client communication.

Requirements / Qualifications

Experience in a hospital setting would be great, but it is not essential. You will be comfortable with time management and have good communication skills. The role is for Twilight shift 2pm-12am, 7 on 14 off.
