Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver adapted lessons.
  • Support behaviour using calm, relational and therapeutic approaches.
  • Monitor wellbeing and safeguarding concerns.
  • Work with SENCO, therapists, social workers and families.
  • Create a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Report and record pupil's attainment and progress.
  • Use data to set aspirational targets and plan challenging activities.

All pupils have an Education Health and Care Plan, with ILP's written based upon outcomes and aims from their EHCP's, which identify strategies and interventions to support their needs.
