Overview

Do you have import/Exports experience and looking for a role scheduling Transport for cargo collection and deliveries to and from Airline sheds. Based in Hayes, West London. The role will be on rotating shifts 4 on 4 off days and nights, 07.00 to 19.00 and 19.00 to 07.00

Responsibilities

• As a Transport Planner you will be responsible for ensuring all daily collections and delivery requirements are met, successfully communicate with all departments on operational issues and supportthe department in making sure all legal compliances are adhered to.

Overall Role Purposes

• An experienced person with the capability to manage and plan vehicles for Importcollections and Export deliveries from Heathrow.
• Ability to adapt and embrace change while keeping calm in a pressured time drivenenvironment.
• Needs to be familiar with DVSA, WTD, and UK legislation.
• To work as part of the transport team.
• To be flexible with working times and days, to be part of a shift operation.
• Needs to be able to communicate effectively at all levels, with a history of dealing withboth internal and external customers,
• Proven history in freight forwarding with the ability to demonstrate their forward thinking attitude and how to compel others to follow the same.
