Transport Admin Clerk

Hours: 10:00am - 6:00pm
Pay Rate: 13 per hour
Contract: Temporary (with potential to progress to Perm)

Are you an organised and confident administrator looking to take on a key role within a busy transport environment? We're looking for a Transport Admin Clerk to join the team in Irlam, supporting day-to-day operations and keeping everything running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Providing general administrative support to the transport team.
  • Communicating with drivers and internal teams in a professional, confident manner.
  • Logging delivery failures, damages, breakdowns, and other issues into the system.
  • Assisting with accident investigations and associated reporting.
  • Supporting staff training and inductions.
  • Working with the Transport Supervisor on early-stage planning tasks.
  • Getting involved with vehicle compliance as training progresses.

  • A confident telephone manner and ability to handle driver queries effectively.
