Transport Administrator – East Kilbride – Earn £15.36 p/h – Full Time

Ignition Driver Recruitment is hiring Transport Administrators in the Glasgow area to work with one of the UK’s leading supermarket chains. We’re recruiting for both day and night shifts and require proven experience in a transport environment.

Hours

Full‑time (12‑hour shifts). Days and nights are available; the role may require flexibility to work any five out of seven nights.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support in the transport office at night
  • Brief and de‑brief drivers
  • Distribute vehicle keys and maintain key logs
  • Monitor incoming communications and act on requirements/requests
  • Update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other software systems
  • Monitor and enforce compliance in all working processes
  • Provide cover support for the transport team during absences

This role may include other duties as required; flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills are beneficial.

About You

You are a hard‑working individual who relishes new challenges, with prior experience as a Transport Administrator, Transport Planner, Driver Planner, Admin, Clerk, Administrative Assistant, Logistics Coordinator, Operations Coordinator, Transport Specialist, or similar roles.

You are a UK resident able to travel to and from the site for your shift. The employer cannot assist with visa applications or relocation.
