Overview

The Leicestershire College is looking for an experienced and flexible Engineering Trainer Assessor to join our apprenticeship team to support in the growth of our Engineering Apprenticeship provision.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Engineering Trainer Assessor or someone wishing to leave industry, to work on a full-time contract to carry out Training and Assessing duties for apprentices and their employers in college and the workplace.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out Training and Assessing duties for engineering apprentices and their employers in college and in the workplace.
  • Support the growth of the Engineering Apprenticeship provision.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Competency in the subject area.
  • An appropriate Assessor qualification (for example D32/D33/A1/TAQA, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards.
  • A qualification at a minimum Level 3 in the subject area.
  • Experience of working with individuals to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours.
