A reputable law firm in Tandridge is seeking a future Trainee Solicitor who has prior paralegal experience. The role offers a clear and structured pathway to qualification, starting as a paralegal for 6 months before transitioning into a training contract. Ideal candidates will possess experience in Property, Private Client, or Litigation, and demonstrate strong organization and a client-focused approach. This opportunity provides stability and hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
I’m working with a growing and well-regarded law firm in Oxted that’s looking to hire a future Trainee Solicitor. This role is aimed at someone who already has paralegal experience and is now looking for a clear and realistic route into qualification.
The structure is straightforward: you’ll join the firm initially as a Paralegal, and once you’ve successfully completed a 6-month probation period, your training contract will formally commence. This is a planned pathway and not an informal promise – the firm regularly develops paralegals into trainee solicitors and beyond.
For the first 6 months, you’ll work as a paralegal within one of the firm’s core departments, depending on your background and interests.
You’ll gain hands‑on experience, support fee earners, and start building the skills needed for your training contract. Once your training contract begins, you’ll rotate through seats and continue your development towards qualification.
This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal who wants clarity, stability and a genuine pathway to qualification, rather than relying on short-term or uncertain training contract opportunities.
