Overview

This exciting role involves engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services and advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, and helping to deliver a variety of public health services while gaining a pharmacy qualification.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services and advice.
  • Housekeeping duties including stock rotation and stock replenishment.
  • Assist in delivering a variety of public health services.
  • Gain a pharmacy qualification during the apprenticeship.
  • Order pharmaceutical stock and advise customers on over-the-counter medication.
  • Assist with minor ailments and dispensing prescription medicines as part of the role.
Qualifications Required
  • GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
  • For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
