Cover Supervisor Training Programme Greater Manchester

Looking to start your career in education? Vision for Education is offering an exciting opportunity to join our Cover Supervisor Training Programme, developed in partnership with the North East Partnership SCITT.

The role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom when the teacher is away. You will:

  • Lead lessons using pre-prepared plans
  • Manage the classroom environment
  • Ensure a smooth handover for the teacher99s return
Training & support

Our tailored training builds your confidence and equips you with the skills you need to succeed. Many of our trainees have gone on to secure permanent school roles, with glowing feedback from headteachers. You will gain hands-on experience in our supportive partner schools across Greater Manchester.

What we99re looking for
  • Natural leadership and the confidence to manage a class
  • Experience working with young people (e.g. coaching, mentoring, youth work)
  • Suitable references, valid DBS, and Right to Work in the UK
