A leading educational consultancy in the United Kingdom is seeking Trainee Positive Behaviour Mentors to support SEND Schools in Haywards Heath. Ideal candidates will help children with various needs and receive training for the role. This position is suitable for those passionate about education, especially Psychology Graduates. Responsibilities include behaviour management, supporting vulnerable pupils, and collaborating with other staff members. Full-time availability is required from 8.15am to 3.30pm.
We are looking for passionate individuals who want to begin working and training as Behaviour Mentors to support our local SEND Schools in Haywards Heath by helping children and young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs) and some Complex Needs (Hearing impairments, Autism, Speech and language delay, ADHD).
Applications for the position are welcome from candidates of ranging experience, and training will be provided, although previous experience working with students with SEMH, particularly challenging behaviours and Trauma & Attachment will be helpful. A strong sense of behaviour management will also be key!
Anyone from a youth support, support worker, police or care worker background, or personal SEND experience is strongly encouraged to apply! Training will be provided to all applicants so the ideal candidate just needs to be passionate, eager to learn and be very resilient. If this sounds like you please apply!
