Your New Role

Step behind the scenes of world-class film production and become part of the creative force that helps shape the look and feel of iconic sets. As a Textiles Assistant, you’ll play a hands-on role in preparing specialist lighting textiles used by our Lighting clients across stages and locations. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and learn industry-specific skills, all while contributing to the storytelling of major productions filmed here at Leavesden.

Your Responsibilities
  • Pick and return equipment from the warehouse for Lighting Textiles rental orders, and vice versa.
  • Bar code equipment and put WB identification markers on the equipment.
  • Maintain the warehouse.
  • Check, Clean, and Re-Bag textiles and Flags/Nets.
  • Sort damaged Flags/Nets for recovery.
  • Document/photograph damaged equipment.
  • Maintain consignment stock levels.
  • Complete stock takes.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with clients.

Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden (WBSL) is a world-class film and TV studio offering one of the largest facilities in the UK. The purpose-built studio site is home to 20 sound stages, production offices, workshops, an indoor water tank, and an extensive, clear-horizon backlot.

WBSL includes the on-site production rentals business, Warner Bros. Set Lighting & Rigging, which provides the industry with state-of-the-art lighting equipment, scaffolding, and production supplies for stage and location shoots worldwide. In addition, Warner Bros. De Lane Lea, based in London, provides picture and sound post-production services for film and TV, and has a dedicated Dailies department on the lot at WBSL.

Warner Bros. Leavesden Park, adjacent to the Studio, offers modern and flexible office space for productions and is home to The WonderWorks, a bespoke childcare facility available to those working on site.

With a range of services including an on-site gym, café, and wellbeing room, WBSL provides the perfect home for productions and has become the studio of choice for many filmmakers worldwide.

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
