Job description
Test Technician

As the Test Technician you will work with bespoke, semi-automated and manual test equipment, as well as handle ultra-high-value, delicate components in controlled environments.

Key Responsibilities for the Test Technician
  • Testing of high value components
  • Set up and operate test equipment following defined procedures
  • Perform functional measurements
  • Record, analyse, and interpret test results against specifications
  • Accurately log results in test systems, ERP, and production records
  • Identify and document failures
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams
  • Maintain clean, controlled test areas and follow procedures
  • Involvement with Kitting activities
  • Prepare and kit components
  • Handle fragile parts using approved procedures
  • Verify parts against BOMs and build documentation
  • Visually inspect components for damage or non-conformance
  • Ensure correct packaging, labelling, and traceability
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock control
Skills & Experience for the Test Technician
