A leading software solutions provider in the City Of London is looking for a Test Manager with expertise in the Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Power BI reporting, web application testing, and team management. The role involves managing testing activities, reporting project statuses, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are a must. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Good experience in Insurance domain (General Insurance) is a must i.e. should have good knowledge of Claims (CMS) application.
• Power BI Reporting & Data analysis & data testing background is a must have.
• Excellent Communication & interpersonal skills i.e. Needs to be outspoken & able to interact with different vendors & business stakeholders.
• Should be able to manage other vendor test team members.
• Good Experience of Test Planning, co-ordination & Management. Should be able to form the Test Approach & give direction to team to guide them.
• Good Experience of UAT Planning & Management (UAT co-ordination).
• Should be able to Monitor, Track and do Status Reporting of large-scale projects.
• Should be able to schedule project reviews, audits, and track resulting actions.
• Exposure to all stages of Software Testing Life Cycle is a must.
• Act as a primary point of contact for Testing.
• Needs to ensure Testers have the correct accesses & permissions – communicate requirements to Administrator prior to testing.
• Resolve issues, clarify test steps, and provide guidance to Testers where necessary.
• Provide daily updates to Project manager/Scrum Master and Stakeholders.
• Triage defects to appropriate tech teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation & people management skills.
• Excellent client relationship management, team building skills, strong analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities.

Technical Skills

• Power BI (Must) Tableau (preferred)
• Data Analysis, Migration / ETL Testing (Must)
• Web application Testing (Must)
• API testing experience (Preferred), SOAP UI/Postman - Preferred
• Experience in Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Expertise in Jira
• Basic understanding automation testing processes & tools (Selenium, Tosca)
• Should have basic understanding performance testing processes & tools (Jmeter / Loadrunner)
