Telehandler Required for Ongoing Work in Bury St Edmunds - Immediate Start Available

Pay Rate: £19.50 per hour

We are looking for an experienced Telehandler to join our team for ongoing projects in Bury St Edmunds. If you hold the relevant qualifications and have a strong background in operating telehandlers, we want to hear from you. Immediate start available for the right candidate!

The Role

As a Telehandler, you will be responsible for operating telehandler forklifts to move materials around construction sites safely and efficiently. Your duties will include:

• Operating the telehandler to transport materials and equipment across the site
• Loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring the safe handling of goods
• Assisting with lifting and positioning materials for construction tasks
• Ensuring all lifting operations comply with health and safety guidelines
• Working closely with the site team to coordinate the safe movement of materials
• Maintaining the telehandler and reporting any mechanical issues to the site supervisor
• Following site-specific health and safety regulations and procedures

Requirements

• CPCS Card (essential)
• Proven experience operating telehandlers on construction sites
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites
• PPE: safety boots, hi-vis vest, hard hat
• Reliable, punctual, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
