Role: Technology Service Desk Administrator

Work Pattern: Worcester based with a balance of home and office working

Contract: Temporary position for up to 6 months

Hours: 35 hours per week

Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact for end users, handling straightforward queries via phone and chat (e.g., password resets, permissions chases, data increases).
  • Onboard new starters and ensure accounts are enabled on start date with multi-factor authentication setup.
  • Update tickets in the call logging system and log support tickets with third parties, chasing for updates and timescales.
  • Support Team Leaders with admin tasks such as chasing open tickets, generating reports and updating rotas.
Skills and Experience
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Background in Customer Service preferred, with phone experience.
  • Experience in an administrative role and implementing processes.
  • Ability to extract and interrogate data from computer systems.
  • Adaptable to varying tasks; able to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads for self and others.
