Qualifications

Job Title: Technology Risk Specialist
Location: Birmingham

Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President

The role is within the Risk & Compliance team in End User Computing (EUC) which is responsible for delivering specific aspects of the risk and control strategy. EUC has technology towers of Devices (Mobility Print Workspace and OS) and Applications (MS Teams MS Office Voice Recording and others). In this role you will partner closely with these Technology Towers and liaise with other risk and control functions to ensure the oversight risk identification write ups and management of risk initiatives and projects. The role will give you an excellent opportunity to further develop your Technology Risk Management skills in a critical area of the bank.

Your key responsibilities
  • Partner with EUC Technology Towers to manage multiple Risk & Control activities including assessing and managing the risk log remediating risks facing audits and regulatory requests governing technology risk metrics reporting on DR managing application repositories and Risk SharePoint.
  • Collaborate with EUC Technology Towers and Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) / Risk Type Controllers (RTC) for coordinating risk & control assessments and ongoing activities.
  • Present Risk packs and provide updates to Technology Tower Leads to give regular management updates on progress and challenges in risk management activities.
  • Manage regulatory responses for specific Technology towers in a timely and coordinated manner with Technology Tower areas.
  • Lead and support Risk Remediation projects as part of the Overall EUC Risk Programme while actively suggesting improvements and efficiencies for the end user community and enhancing overall risk processes.
Your skills and experience
  • Experience of working in a Risk Function a Technology Department.
  • The ability to effectively work with business users developers and other technology colleagues outside of your direct team across a broad range of business functions and at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel MS Access and MS Powerpoint.
  • The ability to multi task prioritize work and adapt during sometimes pressured situations ensuring a Can do positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of Risk tools used in DB ie. GFMS Service Now Clarity Application repository tools i.e. NAR.
  • Experience of operating within Deutsche Bankss Finding Management Procedure (FMP) and NFRM risk rating grid.
