Summary:

We are currently seeking a Technician/Senior Technician to join our Highways and Infrastructure Design Team in Manchester (although location is flexible, offices located in Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester and Cumbria with hybrid working arrangements).

Responsibilities:

We require an individual with experience in highways/transportation & infrastructure design projects. Experience in the use of AutoCAD is essential, with experience in use of Civil 3d/Site 3d/PDS and Micro-Drainage/Info Drainage welcomed.

You will contribute to a wide range of project types, expected input to include:

  • Contributing to the successful delivery of highways/infrastructure projects
  • Preparing detailed highway/Infrastructure design drawings using CAD software
  • Developing project plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Supporting the planning and design phases of local highway schemes
  • Providing technical advice and solutions as part of a project team

About You:

  • Minimum HNC qualification in civil engineering
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software with experience in highway or transportation design, experience with drainage design will be beneficial
  • Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices related to highway design on the local road network
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently, a collaborative approach and a proven ability to deliver work on time.
  • Team player displaying enthusiasm, flexibility, and versatility.
  • Have a desire to build uponyour existing experience,continuing your professional development with Tetra Tech.
  • Hold a full UK Driving License.
