Overview

We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our forward-thinking Research & Development team as we grow our library of technical Standard Operating Procedures.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys turning practical, hands-on knowledge into easy-to-follow guides. If you’re organised, detail-focused, and confident communicating clearly, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll have the freedom to manage your own workload and will play a key role in helping us improve the quality and clarity of product-related information — all while supporting our wider business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Working closely with different teams to gather insights and turn them into user-friendly technical content.
  • Writing and editing clear, concise documents such as SOPs, guides and technical instructions.
  • Breaking down complex ideas into content that suits both technical and non-technical readers.
  • Formatting and presenting documents so they’re easy to read and use.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in equipment, industry trends and good documentation practices.
Qualifications
  • Has hands-on experience with electromechanical systems — or has worked with equipment like bakery or catering machines.
  • Understands how to write technical content for a wide range of users.
  • Is organised, dependable, and has a strong eye for detail.
  • Communicates well and writes with clarity.
  • Feels confident using Microsoft 365 tools to write, format, and edit documents.

This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys making a difference — ensuring that the right information is always easy to find and simple to understand. If you’re someone with real-world technical experience and a knack for clear communication, you’ll fit right in.
