Job description

White Label is exclusively representing an engineering and manufacturing company in Bradford that require a passionate Technical Support Manager to join their team.

As the Technical Support Manager, you will be responsible for leading and initiating proficient and practical solutions to customer requirements to enhance brand value and increase sales and profitability fulfilling the growth strategy of the company. Pro-actively leading and managing a team of Technical Support Engineers.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver technically innovative solutions, designed to enhance brand value and increase sales and profitability.
  • Writing technical specification and reports for internal and external use.
  • Ensuring the connection details meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure all connection details are compliant with the required standards and approvals required for local geographical areas.
  • Carry out structural calculations to ensure the connection detail meets the requirement of the application.
  • Liaise with customers and external sales personnel to ensure external relationships are maintained and developed.
  • Provide innovative solutions that will allow the business to continually develop.
  • Provide high quality and fast response to customers (internal and external). Meeting and exceeding their expectations.
  • Enhance brand value and increase sales, profitability, and market share across all markets.
  • Ensure team works to optimum level at all times
Experience Required
  • BEng/BSc in either Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or equivalent through experience.
  • Ideally, you'll have 10 years+ experience in technical support, engineering, or research and development departments.
  • Minimum 1 years' experience managing a team.
  • Experience of implementing technical support strategies.
  • Ability to produce 3D connection details and engineering drawings using Solidworks 3D.
  • Experience developing technical solutions to customer requirements.
