A facility management company in Manchester is seeking a Technical Services Manager for three roles focusing on Electrical, Mechanical (Boiler and Pressure Systems), and Ventilation. The candidate will be responsible for lifecycle planning and auditing in line with manufacturer guidelines. Competitive salary up to £70k plus bonuses and allowances. Experience in managing complex facility operations is required.

Based on a large PFI healthcare contract covering 5 sites, you’ll be working for the FM company that manages the lifecycle fund, while working alongside another company delivering Hard FM.
You’ll support with issues, unpick problems and provide solutions to build the 5 year lifecycle plan, while at the same time auditing the other FM incumbent to confirm that they’ve been maintaining the plant and equipment on site in line with manufacturers guidelines. This is an unusual arrangement that requires both technical expertise and diplomacy.
You will already be an authorised person in the disciplines mentioned above; 1 HV/LV AP, 1 x Boilers and Pressure Systems AP and 1 x Ventilation AP.
Currently delivering £10m a year in lifecycle works with the capability to deliver c£35m a year.
