Technical Manager

Circa £60,000 per annum + bonus

Our client, a leading manufacturer committed to excellence and continuous improvement, is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to drive quality, compliance, and technical performance across their site.

You will lead the technical function, managing quality systems, audits, and compliance while guiding a skilled team. Your focus : ensuring products meet customer and regulatory requirements throughout their life cycle, strengthening processes, and supporting operational success.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the technical and quality teams.
  • Oversee the Quality Management System and ensure full compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage internal and external audits.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with production, supply chain, marketing, and other functions to meet project goals.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and technical project timelines.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting, risk reporting, and technical guidance.
  • Build effective relationships with customers, suppliers, and external bodies.
  • Champion safe working practices and support a culture of continuous improvement.
