A community health service provider seeking a Team Leader in Health Promotion to enhance the health outcomes of children and families in Warwickshire. In this role, you will lead health initiatives, manage the National Child Measurement Programme, and ensure impactful engagement with communities. The role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders. This position offers a mix of remote work and travel around the region, contributing to vital public health projects.
Do you want to be a part of a dynamic new service focused on creating healthier futures for children, young people & families across Warwickshire?
As a Team Leader Health Promotion, you will work closely with schools, families & partners to deliver positive health messages in ways that feel practical, engaging and relevant. Your work will be varied, combining direct delivery with planning, coordination and relationship building across communities.
A key responsibility is leading the National Child Measurement Programme in the county. You will plan, deliver and evaluate the programme, support schools to achieve strong participation and ensure data is accurate, complete and uploaded to the national database. You will analyse trends and contribute to reports that help shape local public health understanding.
Alongside this, you will lead and support health needs assessments, Peer Ambassador programmes and parent workshops, creating inclusive & amp; age appropriate sessions that encourage lifelong healthy habits. You will also work with our partners to support public health campaigns and community based initiatives.
You will provide leadership and line management, supporting colleagues to deliver consistent, quality health education. Building relationships is central to the role, and your insight and ideas will help shape how communities experience health & wellbeing support.
Although this is a remote role, you’ll travel around Warwickshire carrying out your amazing & exciting work.
You are passionate about improving health outcomes and motivated by making a real difference for children, young people and families. You bring energy, confidence and curiosity to your work and enjoy leading others while staying connected to frontline delivery. You are comfortable working with people and data, and you use insight to inform action.
Experience of leading projects, analysing data, producing reports, line management or working with public health campaigns and partners would be great but aren't dealbreakers.
