Overview

Linde Material Handling is one of the world's leading manufacturers of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment. A worldwide network of more than 8,500 service technicians ensures maximum availability of Linde trucks and solutions, and based on its worldwide logistics network, Linde guarantees spare part delivery within 24 hours. We are currently looking for a Team Leader to join our team in the West Yorkshire area. The geographical patch to be covered is the HD / HX / LS / WF / BD postcode area.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the day-to-day efficient running of the engineering team within the designated area to facilitate a high-quality customer experience.
  • Lead, engage and motivate the engineering team; maintain and repair equipment within a reduced truck parcel.
  • Find, diagnose, and rectify faults and undertake preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
Qualifications
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, or Hydraulics.
  • NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification is desirable, though not essential.
  • IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Personal attributes: effective communication and management skills, excellent people management, ability to prioritise multiple issues, confident in customer-facing interactions, good numeracy/literacy, energetic, motivated, proactive team player.
  • Competent to support and train engineers on relevant IT systems with the ability to provide first-level support; qualified to conduct Thorough Examination; able to manage conflict.
