An educational support organization is seeking a skilled Teaching Assistant to support Year 6 pupils with SEMH and ADHD in Tameside. The ideal candidate will start immediately and remain until Summer 2026, providing essential pastoral support within a primary school. Responsibilities include managing behaviours, adapting learning strategies, and collaborating with teachers and professionals. Candidates should have experience in SEMH settings and strong communication skills.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 3:15pm
Are you a skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong background in supporting pupils with SEMH and ADHD? This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key pastoral support role within a dedicated Year 6 team at a welcoming primary school in Tameside, starting immediately and continuing until the end of the academic year in Summer 2026.
You’ll work with two Year 6 pupils requiring intensive, structured support to engage with the curriculum and regulate their emotions. Your day will include a mix of classroom-based support, 1:1 interventions, sensory circuits, and proactive behaviour management techniques.
