A reputable educational organization in Chard is seeking compassionate and patient teaching assistants to support students with various additional needs including ASC and ADHD. The role involves working closely with teachers to ensure student well-being and success. Preference is given to those who can work full-time or at least twice a week. Five Education is currently recruiting teaching assistants to work in an inclusive, welcoming special school in Chard. The role will involve supporting students with a variety of additional needs, such as ASC, Down syndrome, ADHD and SEMH difficulties.
The hours are 8:30 until 3:30, and full time availability is preferred although applicants will be considered providing they are able to work at least twice per week.
The ideal candidate will be patient, resilient, compassionate and caring. While experience working with children or with SEND is preferred, the enthusiasm to learn and be proactive is what's most important in this role.
Pay: Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fee or employer's NI. Please note pay rate is for illustration and does include holiday pay.
