Job Title: Teaching Assistants - EHCP Support (Secondary Schools, East Grinstead)

Location:

East Grinstead, Sussex

Contract Type:

Start Date:

ASAP or September 2025

Salary:

Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role:
  1. Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with EHCPs.
  2. Collaborate with class teachers and SENCOs to implement personalized learning strategies.
  3. Assist in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
  4. Promote student independence, confidence, and engagement.
  5. Support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs, where appropriate.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
  1. Experience working with children or young people with SEN, especially in secondary schools.
  2. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  4. A flexible and proactive approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
  5. Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent) are desirable but not essential. Full training and support will be provided.
