Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and inspirational Teacher of Science to join us at our brand-new, purpose-built Minster College.

MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance, with progression opportunities + Local Government Pension Scheme + 24/7 access to a free virtual GP Service + collaborative MAT network + additional LAT benefits.

Role is based at the Minster College.

At Leigh Academy Snowfields, we believe every child deserves the chance to succeed, no matter the challenges they face. We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and inspirational Teacher of Science to join us at our brand-new, purpose-built Minster College.

This role has arisen due to the growth of our academy and the opening of the new Minster College, and represents an exciting chance to be part of our continued expansion.

This is more than just a teaching position—it is a unique opportunity to become a founding member of a team that is shaping the future of inclusive education. You will play a crucial role in developing and delivering a bespoke curriculum, primarily supporting students on the Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), utilizing a Primary Teaching Model to help them reach their highest potential within our cutting‑edge facilities.

Why Join Leigh Academy Snowfields at Minster College?
  • The Excitement of a New Start: Be a foundational member of a brand‑new campus (opened September 2025) and help shape its culture and specialised ASD provision from the ground up.
  • Purpose‑Built Facilities: Teach and work in state‑of‑the‑art, purpose‑built facilities designed specifically to enhance SEN delivery.
  • A Supportive Community: Join a welcoming team that shares your passion for inclusive education, where every colleague and child is valued and celebrated.
  • Professional Development: Access opportunities to grow your expertise and lead innovation in a dynamic, forward‑thinking academy trust.

We encourage applications from diverse backgrounds, including Primary teachers, those with SEN setting experience, and dedicated Secondary Subject Specialists, as we value all mainstream teaching experience and do not require specific SEN qualifications.

If you are a passionate Teacher of Science ready for the challenge and reward of launching a new campus and making a profound impact on students’ lives, we want to hear from you!
