What skills and experience we're looking for

Bruntcliffe Academy is seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Teacher of Computer Science & ICT. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 and motivating pupils, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to achieve their full potential.

This is an exceptionally important role for us here at Bruntcliffe Academy; the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent subject knowledge across both Computer Science and ICT and the ability to enthuse pupils in this fundamental part of our curriculum.

We would welcome applications from candidates currently completing their Initial Teacher Training in order to begin their Early Career Teacher Year 1 with us in September 2026. Early Career Teachers at Bruntcliffe Academy receive a bespoke programme of personalised professional development to support their progression into exceptional practitioners.
