Responsibilities of the Tax Senior role include:
  • Managing a portfolio of clients’ tax affairs, including corporation tax, personal tax, and capital gains
  • Preparing, reviewing, and submitting tax computations and returns
  • Providing proactive advice on tax planning and compliance
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients on tax matters
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to deadlines
  • Identifying opportunities to provide additional tax advisory services
Requirements of the Tax Senior role include:
  • UK accountancy practice experience with strong tax exposure
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or AAT qualified with significant tax experience
  • Proven experience managing a client portfolio
  • Confident handling client queries and providing advice
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation
  • Proactive, organised, and able to work independently and as part of a team
