Job description
Overview

A local accountancy firm who is a member of a global accountancy network is looking to fill the role of tax accountant at its Jersey based offices. The ideal candidate will be a qualified tax professional preferably with Jersey and UK tax experience. This is an exciting role as a new tax principal has recently joined and is generating lots of new business opportunities. You will be expected to be professionally qualified with ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT or equivalent and have at least 2 years PQE ideally within a local private client tax environment. You would become a member of a small team reporting directly to the head of tax. The main duties consist of assisting on project work, preparing personal tax information, working with a diverse Jersey and UK personal tax portfolio of clients including HNW individuals and companies. You will also be expected to provide tax compliance services to a portfolio of non-resident companies, trusts and individuals.

Qualifications
  • Qualified tax professional with ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT or equivalent
  • At least 2 years PQE, ideally within a local private client tax environment
  • Experience in Jersey and UK tax preferred
