Talent Partner (VANRATH Exclusive)
Belfast with Hybrid Work available

Manufacturing / Engineering Sector

VANRATH is exclusively partnering with a global leader, as they seek to appoint a Talent Partner for their Belfast office on an initial 12-month ftc.

Reporting to the Director of People & Talent, you will proactively identify and fill vacancies with talented individuals across a range of focused business areas.

The role will cover full life cycle recruitment and is consequently hands on in many areas. It will also involve doing all the necessary proactive activity including - developing and executing sourcing plans; building talent pipelines; conducting direct sourcing action; building relationships with universities and other local education establishments; attending national graduate recruitment fairs; screening potential candidates; selection and interviewing; managing offers and the onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnering with hiring managers to understand resourcing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Manage and be accountable for the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding candidates
  • Full immersion in the Candidate Relationship Management tool, maximising the functionality to generate candidates and reduce time in process
  • Utilise various sourcing techniques such as the CRM database, LinkedIn, employee referrals and job boards
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for critical, core roles and future hiring needs
  • Conduct initial candidate screening for shortlist
  • Coordinate interview processes, provide feedback and ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Effective partnership with hiring managers, using data and market intelligence to influence and negotiate on hiring decisions
  • Be accountable for performance, in check on recruitment metrics to improve hiring efficiency and effectiveness

The Person

  • Recruitment expertise - knowledge and experience of full-cycle recruitment and sourcing techniques. It would be advantageous if you have experience in recruiting Engineering skillsets
  • Strong sourcing skills, including capability using ATS/CRM platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers
  • Accountable for performance, leveraging recruitment metrics to optimising processes and hiring efficiencies
  • Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and requirements across a diverse stakeholder group
  • Problem solver and adaptable; able to quickly adjust to shifting business priorities
  • Forward thinking, able to hold discussions to plan and prepare for the future
  • This role will require SC Clearance to start. It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant will undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance. Please visit the UKSV website for further guidance.
  • To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years' residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
