Job summary

A leading UK technology firm is seeking a Test Engineer to stress test advanced RF instrumentation for field deployment. This role requires a degree in electronics or relevant experience and a strong test engineer mindset for bug detection and test planning. Candidates should be familiar with Linux systems and comfortable with embedded systems testing. The position is predominantly office-based, with hybrid working possible. Eligible candidates must reside in the UK and not require visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manual testing of CRFS systems including GUI controls.
• Regression tests of firmware and software.
• Monitoring and documenting through the quality management system.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in electronics or relevant experience and domain knowledge.
• Test engineer mindset – breaking systems, bug detection, test plans, UX glitches and edge cases.
• Comfortable with Linux systems and command‑line tools.
• Experience with embedded systems testing, Python scripting for test automation and/or RF analysis tools desirable.
