Alpha CRC is a leading Language Service Provider (LSP) with a global presence, offering cutting-edge localisation and translation solutions to businesses worldwide.

We are currently looking for a Systems Support Engineer. This is a perfect chance to develop your IT career in a fast-moving professional environment while working as part of a large international team. This is an entry-level Systems Network Engineer role or suitable for a person with network support experience, who is looking to develop their career in IT.

Tasks

Assist with 1st and 2nd line systems support tickets.

Help build and install new laptops, desktops and printers.

Ensure that hardware and software systems are running smoothly.

Resolve any system issues that appear.

Support network users.

Back up servers, archive jobs, and restore jobs from archives.

Assist in providing VPN and remote connectivity.

Requirements

Degree in IT / computer-related field, or equivalent.

Experience with Windows 10/11 and extensive knowledge of Microsoft applications and software / printer installation.

Good understanding of TCP/IP and DNS.

Proven communication and interpersonal skills.

Quick to adapt and a fast learner.

Proven ability to build relationships with staff at all levels of the organization.

Proven organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritize while ensuring attention to detail and accuracy at all times.

Ability to manage workload and work to deadlines.

Positive attitude and a friendly, confident and approachable manner.
