Job Title: Systems Security Administrator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Systems Security Administrator responsible for supporting the health and security of our server infrastructure at Insulet. The role aims to reduce risk and ensure stability, reporting to the Senior Manager of Systems Administration and collaborating with the Enterprise Cyber Security team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure servers are patched according to vulnerability management procedures.
  2. Assist in security root cause analysis for server-related incidents.
  3. Configure servers and infrastructure to meet regulatory standards.
  4. Document and implement secure configurations based on CIS benchmarks.
  5. Maintain operational, compliant, and secure user applications and endpoints.
  6. Support policy updates for servers under the guidance of the Enterprise Cyber Security Team.
  7. Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
  8. Complete after-hours maintenance and changes as needed.
Education and Experience:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  2. Experience as a system administrator involving server setup, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server and related technologies.
  4. Experience with VMware vSphere and patch management tools such as Intune, SCCM, ManageEngine, or BigFix.
  5. Interest and knowledge in information security, anti-virus, vulnerabilities, and risk management principles.
  6. Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST, CIS, and ISO.
  7. Experience with Exchange Online, Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD.
  8. Self-motivated with a commitment to staying current with technology.
  9. Ability to prioritize and exercise good judgment in resolving issues.
  10. Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  11. Managing Windows and Linux servers in a production environment.
  12. Understanding of networking technologies and their impact on servers.
Physical Requirements:
  1. Ability to lift and transfer up to 30 pounds.
  2. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
