Overview

Support Worker roles £12.60 to £12.80 dependent on experience. Full time, part time and night shifts available. Areas currently recruiting: Lydstep, Pembroke Dock, Saundersfoot & Haverfordwest. We’re a leading organisation dedicated to provide exceptional care and support to children and adults with complex needs associated with autism.

We proudly offer six residences nestled across picturesque Pembrokeshire, including Lydstep, Pembroke Dock, Saundersfoot and Haverfordwest. Day-to-day responsibilities
  • Ensuring residents\' physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment;
  • Support our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration;
  • Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones;
  • Work together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs;
  • Keep accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise;
  • General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
What we are looking for
  • A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships;
  • Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs;
  • A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team;
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes;
  • Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts.

Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
