Overview

A face-to-face Assessment Day for this role will take place on Thursday 25th September 2025. Attendance is mandatory as it forms a key part of the interview and selection process if successful at pre-screen.

We're looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to assist an individual living in their own home in Cheltenham. This person lives with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, FND, Gastroparesis and uses a wheelchair at all times, but this does not define them. They have a love of rehoming vintage treasures, creative projects, and gardening.

Local knowledge of Cheltenham and a full UK driving licence are essential to support outings and activities for the day shifts, however not necessary for night shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 2:1, personalised care and enriching activities
  • Support independence, wellbeing, and daily routines
  • Follow care plans and keep accurate records
  • Work in line with CQC standards and organisational policies
  • Provide hands-on, person-centred care that helps make daily life meaningful and enjoyable
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in complex care
  • Experience supporting behaviours perceived as challenging
  • Experience in mental health care
  • Experience managing multiple allergies
  • Local knowledge of Cheltenham (preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential for day shifts)
