Overview

Would you like to work as part of our clients care team to support their service users in the community, helping them live an independent life in and around North Lanarkshire?

We don’t require previous experience in the role, but we are looking for a real passion for care and the desire to enhance the experiences of the service users you encounter. You should be flexible in approach and adaptable to any situation.

To help you fulfil the role, you will have access to a fully funded company car with fuel and insurance paid for, ensuring you can concentrate on delivering the best possible support and service. A valid, full UK driving license is an essential requirement for this role.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Support service users in all aspects of personal care
  • Support service users with medication where required
  • Assist service users to meet their nutritional needs
  • Carry out light house duties
  • Assist service users with finances as per company policy
  • Ensure service users have access to healthcare, if required
  • Utilise all communication methods to listen and talk to service users to promote their wellbeing
  • Encourage the relationships service users have with family, friends, and wider community
  • Be mindful of equality and diversity, and behave in a culturally sensitive manner
  • Be aware of adult protection issues and report accordingly
  • Report a service user’s progress on the correct platforms
  • Please note, you may be required to work in different areas to provide support or to carry out other reasonable duties as necessary
