Overview

Learning Disability - Rosedene, Woking. We are looking for Support Workers within a residential supported living setting in Woking who are motivated to provide specialist support for adults with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, Down's syndrome, and autism. Join Ability Housing to be part of a friendly and inspiring team as a Support Worker.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist support for adults with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, Down's syndrome, and autism in a residential supported living setting.
  • Work as part of a rolling rota covering days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.
  • Perform personal care for some customers as required.
  • Promote community participation and integration and help customers achieve a good quality of life.
  • Contribute to delivering the standard of care with compassion, patience and a willingness to learn.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities.

Vacancy details

2 full-time vacancies (40 hours per week) and a part-time role at Rosedene in Woking, Surrey, for a permanent position (role sharing may be considered). Successful candidates must be able to be part of a rolling rota and provide personal care where required.
