Job description

Support Worker – Semi-Independent Supported Accommodation.
Company: Helping Hands Supported Living CIC.
Location: Multiple locations in Middlesex, London.
Hours: Full-time or Part-time.
Start: Immediate.

Role Responsibilities
  • Deliver regular support sessions and welfare checks.
  • Support residents with tenancy responsibilities, cleaning rotas, and house rules.
  • Assist with Universal Credit updates, form‑filling, appointments, and daily living skills.
  • Help clients with college applications, job searches, and accessing external services.
  • Provide emotional support and signposting to mental health teams, GP, and other agencies.
  • Maintain accurate support logs, risk assessments, and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with social workers, probation, and local authorities.
What We’re Looking For
  • Caring, patient, and confident working with vulnerable people.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Good computer skills — able to write support logs, emails and update client records.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your caseload.
  • Previous experience in support work is helpful but not essential.
  • Willingness to travel between properties.
