Job Description

We are seeking, for our client, experienced support workers to support adults with learning disabilities.

Situated in 90 acres of beautiful countryside you would be actively supporting adults with learning disabilities to lead active & fulfilling lives. The role would involve supporting residents with jobs around the farm and participating in various social and recreational activities.

There are four residential homes on-site offering support for varying needs.

Your role would offer a hands‑on lifestyle for our residents in this unique setting.

We are seeking experienced support workers who are able to:

  • Days - starting 7am/7.30am/8am - finish 3pm/10pm
  • Sleep in shifts (no waking nights)

Hours can be discussed at interview.

The Role

We are looking for energetic, and reliable individuals to join our dedicated team who will support with participation with social activities - local disco, pub visits, film night, games & many more as well as working outside tending to the jobs around the farm. This is an excellent opportunity if you want something a bit different where no two days are the same!

As a member of our team, you will:
  • Support residents in their daily lives, fostering independence confidence, resilience & personal growth.
  • Engage in farm-related and outdoor activities alongside residents.
  • Assist with social, recreational, and skill-building programs tailored to our residents' interests and abilities.
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive team to create a safe, enriching environment.
What We're Looking For:
  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
  • A proactive and positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a variety of activities, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Willingness to take individuals to their chosen place of worship as required.
  • Be able to drive due to the location and able to take service users out in the services car.
  • Previous experience in care or support work is an advantage, but we welcome anyone with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
