A local housing support organization in Norwich is looking for a part-time Support Shift Team Member to assist individuals facing homelessness and related challenges. This position focuses on providing empathetic and trauma-informed care. Responsibilities include engaging with vulnerable adults, participating in various service projects, and contributing to their personal development through tailored training. This is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2026, 24 hours per week.
We have a temporary part-time vacancy (fixed term contract) for a Support Shift Team Member, shift work including weekends and sleep in shifts (£70.47 per sleep in shift)
The main purpose of the job is to understand and work with adults who may have experienced trauma linked to homelessness, addiction, mental or physical health needs, family breakdown, criminal activity and other disadvantages.
The post holder will be part of a team providing person centred and trauma informed support to single homeless people living within homeless services accommodation.
You will be working across these four projects:
