Responsibilities
  • Provide high‑quality care on a 2:1 basis, ensuring a compassionate and attentive approach tailored to the individual's specific needs.
  • Engage the individual in meaningful activities and take them out into the community to promote social interaction and well‑being.
  • Support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organised living environment that fosters comfort and independence.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently in the individual's preferred manner to build a strong and trusting relationship.
Qualifications
  • Experience caring for people with learning disabilities and autism.
  • Understanding of behaviours that may be perceived as challenging, and experience managing them.
  • Experience with mental health support.
  • D1 licence (for driving duties, if required).
